Daniel was introduced to yoga as a child by his mother who has been a practitioner for over 30 years. While he didn’t develop a consistent practice until his 20’s, he grew up around yoga and various spiritual practices. He started practicing Ashtanga yoga while living in New York City and has been practicing at Ahana since he moved to Miami in 2020.
Daniel completed the 200hr Ahana Yoga Teacher Training in March of 2024 and has hit the ground running. He believes in the tristana philosophy — the trio of breath, dristi, and bandha engagement — as the key to cultivating a holistic yoga practice. Daniel’s classes focus on finding the proper alignment in each pose, while remaining dynamic through music and movement.
